Location: Weston, Missouri (USA)
Scale: 2 acre property / 2,000 s.f.

Design Team: 40NORTH + Ownership
Construction Cost: $50,000
Scope: Design / Branding / Development / Procurement / Construction / Operation
This project was one of the most challenging, time-consuming, prideswallowing, and professionally rewarding experiences imaginable.
We demolished, designed, rebuilt and rebranded a bar and grill business fromscratch in 45 days. Included in the construction was a 400 square foot kitchen, 2 WC, storage areas, built-in seating banquettes, and outdoor seating areas. The most prominent component of the project was the planning, fabrication, and construction of the 30 ft long bar made from 11 gauge plate steel, fabricated by Standard Sheetmetal in Kansas City.
John Galloway from 40NORTH worked with local laborers and ownership on the design and construction of the entire project, including Brand Development / graphic design / Corporate ID material, as well as marketing and art direction for live music events throughout the year.
Results: 100% ROI in 3 months, business revenue up 225% from previous ownership of business, and 4 additional full time jobs created in the community.
The only thing I miss about it is my Wednesday night bartending gig and our share of the pool table money every 2 weeks. Katie sold her half of the business in 2012.
